Vision, Mission, Purpose & Values
Freedom Life Church exists to help people experience the freedom and life only God can offer.
We’re all about…
Standing on the Truth of God’s Word
Living in the Power of the Holy Spirit
Bringing Jesus into our Everyday Lives
Five Purposes
Worship • Ministry • Evangelism • Community • Discipleship
The Greatest Commandment
“Love the Lord your God (worship) with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor (ministry) as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40
The Great Commission
“Go and make disciples (evangelism) of all nations, baptizing them (fellowship) in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to do (discipleship) everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20
Core Values
Jesus Over Everything
“And God put all things under [Jesus’] feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.” Ephesians 1:22-23
We give Jesus first place in our lives and in our ministry. Nothing compares to Him. He is worthy of our worship, and He is the only One who can save.
Investing In The Next Generation
“We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.” Psalm 78:4
God has no grandchildren. Our environments create opportunities for the next generation to experience the presence of God and teach them how to develop a personal relationship with Jesus.
Living As Salt & Light
“You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. You are the light of the world—like a city on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:13-16
We are called to live distinguished lives as followers of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit that dispels darkness and reflects the illuminating love and splendor of God.
Growing Stronger Together
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
You can’t do life alone! We have been divinely designed for community. Every person fulfills a unique role in the body of Christ, and we need one another to accomplish the purpose for which we have been created.
